Presidency Condemns Shooting at UNRWA'a Director Convoy in Gaza
GAZA, March 16, 2007 (WAFA) - Presidency condemned on Friday the shooting by unknown on the convoy of the director of the United Nations refugee agency as he returned to Gaza City on Friday.
John Ging, the Gaza director of the UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), was travelling from the Erez border crossing to Gaza City when the attack happened.
Presidency Spokesperson said that President Mahmoud Abbas gave orders to security services to investigate the accident and catch the perpetrators as soon as possible and bring them to justice.
He added that President Abbas appreciates the role of UNRWA in supporting the Palestinian people.
