Abu Rdeina Condemns Ongoing Israeli Aggression against Nablus city
RAMALLAH, March 3, 2007 (WAFA)- Presidency Spokesman, Nabil Abu Rdeina condemned Saturday the continued Israeli aggression on the West Bank city of Nablus.
In a statement, Abu Rdeina described the Israeli invasion, for the three times in less than a week, into Nablus city and the arrest campaigns as well as seizing control on houses and schools and turning them into military posts as a collective punishment against the Palestinian people and his institutions.
"The Israeli aggression against Nablus city is as a part of an open war and as a withdrawal of an agreement of state of calm as well as a deliberate destruction of the peace process."
Abu Rdeina called on the Israeli government to immediately stop the ongoing aggression against Nablus and halt the policies of assassinations, arrests and collective punishment.
He also called upon international community and the Quartet to provide protection to the Palestinian people in light of the continued Israeli aggression.
