Scores of Citizens Arrested, Schools and Houses Turned into Detention Centers in Nablus
NABLUS, February 26, 2007, (WAFA)-Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested Monday morning scores of citizens and seized control on tens of houses and two High schools in the West Bank city of Nablus, local sources said.
Israeli troops conducted a wide arrest campaign in the city that exceeded over hundred citizens, who were taken into Hawwara camp, south east Nablus.
In the meantime, Israeli soldiers seized control on tens of houses and two High schools in the city and turned them into detention centers and military posts, witnesses told WAFA.
Israeli troops, for the second day running, launched a board and ongoing offensive attack on Nablus city.
