GAZA, February 26, 2007, (WAFA)-Parish Priest and Latin Convent, in Gaza, Father Manuel Musallam said that the new and evil deeds happening in Jerusalem, precisely around the Al-Aqsa Mosque revealed that Israel is preparing new war crimes, which will result in massive killings and destructions, bloodier than Sharon's mere provocative visit to the Al Aqsa Mosque.

In a letter sent to His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI, Bishop of Rome, Vicar of Jesus Christ and Supreme Pontiff of the Universal Church, Father Musallam said that the this new uprising will definitely be more violent since both Palestinians and Arabs will take severe actions in liberating Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Poor Jerusalem, a holy city that has always suffered and been in the focus of war.

"Our crying appeal is to Liberate and give Jerusalem a symbolic state of Peace in the world and call for international meetings with Christians, Jews and Muslims. We want to live peacefully under the sky of Jerusalem," Musallam said in a letter.

" We, the Palestinian Christians, would like to wish His Holiness a warm welcome to the Holy Land, scheduled this spring. Our strong desire is also to welcome His Holiness to Gaza Strip, where the majority of Palestinians live," said Musallam.

"Encourage the faithful committed to your charge to be ever more concerned about the conditions in Palestine and have them make their lawful requests known, positively and unequivocally, to the rulers of nations. May God look down with mercy on the whole world, but particularly on that land which was bedewed with Blood of the Incarnate World, so that the charity of Jesus Christ, which alone can bring tranquility and peace, may conquer all hatred and strife."

"Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to it! How often have I desired to gather you children together as hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you were not willing."
