RAMALLAH, March 6, 2004, (WAFA)- Israeli Occupation Forces tightened Saturday morning its siege imposed yesterday on President Yasser Arafat‘s Headquarters in the West Bank city of Ramallah.... Palestinian security sources in the city said that at least 10 Israeli military vehicles rolled into Ramallah last night and imposed a tightened siege on the HQ of the President....

Witnesses said that Israeli army jeeps backed by armoured personnel carriers crossed the main streets of the City, and provocatively prevented cars and pedestrians from accessing the HQ.... "Last night, the Israeli jeeps surrounded President Arafat‘s HQs and prevented visitors and labors from accessing," security sources said.... Witnesses said that violent confrontations erupted in the city last night between IOF and Palestinian citizens.... President Arafat has been under the Israeli siege for more than two years, where he was denied access in the Palestinian territories and abroad. The IOF had repeatedly stormed his main office and destroyed most of the constrictions around it....
