President Abbas discusses developments with officials at Economic Forum meeting

DEAD SEA, Saturday, April 06, 2019 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas discussed today the latest developments with world officials on the sidelines of the meetings of the World Economic Forum on the Middle East and North Africa which opened today in the Dead Sea region in Jordan.

President Abbas met with the President of the World Economic Forum Borge Brende during which he briefed him on the overall political situation in Palestine, especially the continued Israeli settlement activities and the withholding by Israel of the tax revenue collected on behalf of the Palestinian Authority.

President Abbas met also with the Omani Foreign Minister Yusuf bin Alawi where the two discussed issues of mutual interest for Palestine and Oman.
