RAMALLAH, Thursday, December 13, 2018 (WAFA) – Extremist Israeli settlers on Thursday evening rampaged through the village of Ein Yabroud, to the northeast of Ramallah in the West Bank, and opened gunfire at homes, witnesses said.
A large number of Jewish settlers -- some of them armed and accompanied by Israeli army -- from the nearby illegal Ofra settlement raided the village and opened gunfire at Palestinians‘ homes, provoking clashes with citizens.
The settlers remained in the village for some time before local citizens were able to fend them off and push them back.
Meanwhile, settlers from Yitzar settlement, south of Nablus city in the northern West Bank, attacked a home in the village of Burin and a car that was parked outside.
The two attacks are part of a series of attacks perpetrated by Jewish settlers across the occupied West Bank since the fatal shooting of three Israeli soldiers near Ramallah earlier today. Most of the attacks occurred at the full sight of Israeli military and security forces.
