RIYADH, July 2, 2025 (WAFA) Saudi Arabia condemned today statements by an Israeli official who called for imposing sovereignty over West Bank territories in Palestine, saying it is an act that violates international legitimate resolutions.

The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed in a statement the Kingdom's unwavering rejection of any attempts to expand colonies on Palestinian lands.

 It stressed the importance of obliging Israeli authorities to adhere to international resolutions,  reiterating Saudi Arabia's full support for the Palestinian people in regaining their legitimate rights, in accordance with international legitimate resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative, including the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital, a stance that is firm and unshakeable
