Palestinian woman, youth injured in Israeli settlers‘ attack at their home in Hebron

HEBRON, Wednesday, March 11, 2020 (WAFA) – A Palestinian woman and a youth were injured today when Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian homes in the occupied city of Hebron in the south of the West Bank, according to local sources.

They told WAFA that the woman, in her 30s, and the youth, identified as Mohannad Jabari, were bruised when a group of settlers attacked homes in Wadi al-Hussein area located near the illegal settlement of Kiryat Arba in Hebron.

Settler attacks on vulnerable Palestinian homes in the Israeli-occupied section of Hebron, known as H2 where several hundred hardcore settlers live, is an almost daily occurrence since the departure of the Temporary International Presence in Hebron (TIPH) early in 2019 when Israel refused to renew the mandate granted to international monitoring force by the United Nations Security Council following the massacre of 29 Palestinians by a settler at the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron in February 1994.
