RAMALLAH, Thursday, August 15, 2019 (WAFA) – Weather on Thursday is hot to very hot with a slight rise in temperature to become above its seasonal average by around 4°C, according to the Palestinian meteorological Department (PMD).

Winds is southwesterly to northwesterly and light to moderate. Sea waves are low.

A further slight rise in temperature is expected on Friday, becoming 5°C above the annual average.

A normal summer weather conditions are expected to prevail on Saturday as temperature significantly drops to become around its seasonal average.

Temperatures are expected to slightly rise on Sunday, becoming slightly above its seasonal average.

PMD warned people against prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, especially during the peak hours of the day from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm local time, and against setting fire to areas where dry grass has grown.
