RAMALLAH, Saturday, March 23, 2019 (WAFA) – Weather today is partly cloudy as temperature remains few degrees above the annual average with northwesterly, light to moderate wind and low sea waves as a low pressure cold front prepares to hit the area as of Sunday night, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
PMD expects Sunday’s temperature to drop and approach the seasonal average with partly cloudy and slightly cold conditions in daytime and cold in the nighttime. Rain along with occasional hail is expected to fall on some districts in the evening and night hours.
Monday’s temperature is set to significantly fall with mostly cloudy and cold to very cold conditions. A chance of scattered rain along with occasional hail is expected in the daytime.
A rise in temperature is expected for Tuesday as cold conditions remain with a chance of rain in most areas.
PMD warns of flooding in low areas and high winds when the low pressure affects the area on Sunday night and Monday.
