RAMALLAH, Saturday, March 16, 2019 (WAFA) – A low pressure and cold front is expected to affect the region today causing temperature to plummet and giving rise to considerably cold conditions along with rain and thunderstorms on all districts particularly in the afternoon and evening hours, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Wind is southwesterly to westerly, very active and gusty. Sea waves are high.
Sunday’s temperature is expected to rise with partly cloudy and relatively cold conditions and a chance of sporadic rain.
Another rise in temperature is expected for Monday and Tuesday to become four to five degrees Celsius above the annual average for this time of the year.
PMD warns people against floods in low areas and valleys, low visibility due to fog formation and slippery roads.
