JERUSALEM, Friday, March 15, 2019 (WAFA) – Israeli police detained two Palestinians from occupied East Jerusalem, said WAFA correspondent.
Israeli police detained a Palestinian teen, identified as a resident of al-Eissawiya neighborhood, while walking in the Nablus Road for wearing a Palestine Marathon shirt and confiscated the shirt.
Police also rounded up another Palestinian for asking Palestinians in Jerusalem to participate in the upcoming Palestine Marathon.
The West Bank, of which East Jerusalem forms an integral part, and the Gaza Strip form the internationally recognized Palestinian territories that Israel has occupied since June 1967.
