RAMALLAH, Sunday, February 24, 2019 (WAFA) – Israeli forces last night detained 12 Palestinians during raids across the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem, including top Awqaf official Najeh Bkerat and Abdul-Azim Salhab, according to a statement by the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS).
PPS said Israeli soldiers detained four Palestinians from Jerusalem including the Chairman of Awqaf Council in Jerusalem, Sheikh Abdul-Azim Salhab, and the Deputy Director of Awqaf in Jerusalem, Sheikh Najeh Bkerat.
It also said that the forces detained three from Qalqilya, three from Bethlehem, and two from Ramallah.
