RAMALLAH, Tuesday, December 11, 2018 (WAFA) – Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah called WAFA news agency on Tuesday to express solidarity with and support for its staff following an Israeli army raid of WAFA headquarters in Ramallah the day before.

Hamdallah spoke with WAFA’s editor-in-chief Kholoud Assaf during which he considered the army raid as part of the war the Israeli occupation authority wages against the Palestinian people in general  and media in particular in an attempt to hide the truth about its crimes and blatant violations of international law, the humanitarian international law and the Geneva Conventions.

The Palestinian cabinet, in its weekly meeting in Ramallah chaired by Hamdallah, had also condemned the army raid against WAFA headquarters.
