HEBRON, May 16, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Friday prevented Palestinian worshippers from performing the dawn prayer at the Ibrahimi Mosque in the city of Hebron, according to local sources.

Sources reported that Israeli forces blocked the entrance to the mosque, fired stun grenades toward worshippers, and forced them to pray outside the mosque.

Recently, the Ibrahimi Mosque has been subjected to systematic violations, including banning the call to prayer, preventing mosque employees from carrying out their duties, and tightening restrictions on worshippers through checkpoints and electronic gates.

These measures are part of ongoing Israeli plans aimed at Judaizing the site, erasing its Islamic character, and altering its historical and religious identity.
