RAMALLAH, Friday, November 23, 2018 (WAFA) – Weather on Friday is cloudy and relatively cold to cold with a significant drop of temperature which approach 5°C below the seasonal average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

There is a high chance of sporadic torrential rains and occasional thunderstorms and hail. Wind is southwesterly, moderate to active and occasionally gusty. Sea waves are medium to high.

Temperature in Jerusalem is set to reach a high of 14°C and a low of 10°C and in Ramallah a high of 13°C and a low of 9°C. In Jericho and the Jordan Valley, temperature is set to reach a high of 22°C and a low of 14°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 18°C and a low of 14°C in Gaza.

Saturday’s temperature is set to rise and approach 3°C below the seasonal average with mostly cloudy and cold conditions in the morning, paving the way for decreasing cloudiness in the afternoon.

Sporadic rains, which could be torrential, and occasional thunderstorms are expected for most districts before evening hours.

PMD expects partially cloudy and relatively cold conditions on Sunday, particularly in mountainous districts with a rise of temperature and a slight chance of scattered light rains over some districts.

Monday’s temperature is set to further rise and become slightly below the seasonal average with partially cloudy and slightly cold conditions in daytime and relatively cold conditions in nighttime.

PMD warns people against floods in low areas and valleys, low visibility due to fog formation, low clouds, gusty winds and slippery roads on Friday and Saturday.
