JERICHO, June 18, 2025 (WAFA) – Colonists stormed the Al-Auja Spring area north of Jericho on Wednesday evening, in yet another attack targeting Bedouin communities in the Jordan Valley.

Hassan Malihat, an official with Al-Baydar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, told WAFA that colonists raided the area and grazed their sheep on Bedouin fodder supplies, as part of ongoing violations targeting Bedouin communities in the Jordan Valley.

He noted that these actions take place under the protection of Israeli forces and are intended to pressure residents and push them toward forced displacement.

He emphasized that these ongoing assaults exacerbate the suffering of residents and undermine any prospects for stability in the area, calling for efforts to strengthen the steadfastness of Bedouin communities and uphold their right to remain on their land in the face of expulsion and repression policies.
