RAMALLAH, September 9, 2018 (WAFA) – Weather on Sunday is partially cloudy and mild in mountainous areas and relatively warm in the rest with temperature below annual average by two degrees Celsius, with a slight chance of sporadic rain, especially in the northern West Bank, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Wind is northwesterly o southwesterly and moderate to active. Sea waves are low to medium.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 26°C and a low of 18°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 25°C and a low of 17°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 38°C and a low of 25°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 29°C and a low of 23°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Temperature is expected to slightly rise on Monday but remains below the seasonal average with sunny and pleasant conditions in mountainous areas and relatively warm conditions in the rest.

Weather on Tuesday is partially cloudy to pleasant in the mountains and warm elsewhere with a rise in temperature to become slightly above the annual average for this time of the year.

Temperature is likely to rise on Wednesday approaching four degrees Celsius above seasonal average.
