NABLUS, May 11, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces detained eight Palestinians at dawn Sunday during raids in several areas of the Nablus Governorate, north of the occupied West Bank, including Balata refugee camp, the Al-Masaken Al-Sha’biya neighborhood, and the town of Beita to the south.
Palestinian security sources told WAFA that Israeli forces stormed multiple neighborhoods in the eastern part of Nablus city and raided several homes in Balata refugee camp, detaining four local citizens. Soldiers ransacked the homes during the assault.
In the Al-Masaken Al-Sha’biya area, Israeli forces detained three brothers: Ihab, Ahmad, and Bashar Mohammad Badrsawi, after raiding their homes.
The sources added that in the town of Beita, the Israeli military also detained 18-year-old Osayd Abdel Fattah Bani Shamsa after raiding and severely damaging his family’s home.
