RAMALLAH, May 18, 2018 (WAFA) – Hundreds of thousands of Turks demonstrated in the heart of Istanbul on Friday in solidarity with the Gaza Strip and to condemn the recent Israeli aggression which resulted in the murder of over 60 Palestinians at Gaza-Israel border.
Turkish President Recept Tayyib Erdogan and visiting Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah joined the masses of demonstrators who gathered in Yenikapi Square in Istanbul.
The demonstrators waved the Palestinian flags besides Turkish flags and pictures of al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, as well as portraits of the victims of the recent Israeli massacre in Gaza.
