JERUSALEM, June 19, 2025 (WAFA) – Israel’s Supreme Court has issued a ruling ordering the eviction of two Palestinian families—the Shweiki and Odeh families—from their homes in the Batan al-Hawa neighborhood of Silwan, located south of the Old City in occupied East Jerusalem.
According to the Jerusalem Governorate, the court granted the families a 30-day deadline to vacate their homes, handing them over to Israeli colonist organizations seeking to take control of properties in the area.
