GAZA, October 3, 2026 (WAFA) — The death toll from Israel’s ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 74,228, while the number of injured has reached 175,188, since October 2023, according to medical sources.

Health authorities reported that hospitals across Gaza received seven Palestinian fatalities over the past 24 hours, including two who died of their wounds and one whose body was recovered from under the rubble. Another 20 Palestinians were injured during the same period.

The sources said the death toll since the ceasefire took effect on October 11, 2025, has reached 1,445, while 5,052 Palestinians have been injured and the bodies of 835 Palestinians have been recovered.

They added that 181 fatalities were recently added to the cumulative toll after their records were completed and approved by the committee responsible for verifying the identities of those killed by the Israeli aggression.
