KHAN YOUNES, April 6, 2018 (WAFA) – At least two Palestinian protesters were on Friday shot dead by Israeli forces as the forces continued to attack non-violent protesters on the eastern border of the Gaza Strip, according to the Ministry of Health.
Majdi Ramadan Shabat, 38, was among hundreds of Palestinians who were peacefully demonstrating near the border fence with Israel, east of Gaza City, when Israeli forces attacked them with gunfire, killing him instantly.
Forces also shot and killed Osama Khamis Qdeih, 37, as they attacked non-violent protesters to the east of Khan Younes, in southern Gaza Strip.
Over 250 protesters were also reportedly injured by Israeli forces’ gunfire and others suffocated from teargas inhalation as the forces continued to attack peaceful protesters for the second consecutive Friday. The protesters are demanding return of the refugees to their homes in historical Palestine.
