RAMALLAH, July 12, 2017 (WAFA) – The Israeli military commander of the West Bank Wednesday served lawmaker Khalida Jarrar with a six-month administrative detention.
A confirmation hearing is scheduled for July 17 at Ofer military camp and prison near Ramallah.
Jarrar, who was elected to the Palestinian parliament in 2006, was arrested at her Ramallah home earlier this month.
She had served one year in prison, including one month in administrative detention, for her political activity in the occupied Palestinian territories and was released in June of last year.
