NABLUS, May 2, 2025 (WAFA) — Israeli occupation forces besieged a home at the entrance of Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus, early Friday morning, amid a heavy military presence and restrictions on movement in and out of the area.
According to local sources, an undercover Israeli military unit infiltrated the vicinity of the camp and surrounded a house, and was later reinforced by military vehicles and troops. All entrances and exits of the camp were subsequently sealed off by the Israeli military, effectively placing the area under lockdown.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported receiving information that a young woman inside the besieged home had been injured. However, Israeli forces were preventing medical teams from reaching the scene to provide aid.
