GAZA, May 2, 2025 (WAFA) — Three Palestinians were killed this morning, including a child, in separate Israeli attacks targeting multiple areas in Rafah and Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, according to local sources.

The sources reported that one civilian was killed in an Israeli strike on a group of people in Al-Tina Street, southeast of Khan Younis. In a separate incident, an Israeli drone targeted the Qizan al-Najjar area, also southeast of Khan Younis, resulting in the killing of 10-year-old Rashid Mohammad Rashid al-Najjar.

Meanwhile, a Palestinian youth identified as Mohammad Suleiman al-Najjar succumbed to injuries he sustained days earlier in an Israeli airstrike that hit his family's home in the same area. His mother and brother were also killed in that earlier attack.

In Rafah, medical sources confirmed that a Palestinian, identified as Mohammad Ahmad Abu Ghali, died from wounds he had sustained during a previous Israeli bombing in the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 52,418 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 118,091 others injured.

Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.

Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
