GAZA, May 2, 2025 (WAFA) — At least seven Palestinians were killed and several others wounded on Friday when an Israeli drone targeted a mourning tent in the town of Beit Lahiya, in the northern Gaza Strip.
Local sources reported that the drone strike hit near Al-Nadi area in Beit Lahia, where people had gathered in a mourning tent, resulting in the killing of seven civilians.
Meanwhile, five-year-old Murad Alaa Abu Mughseeb died today from wounds he sustained during an Israeli airstrike on the Al-Baraka area in Deir al-Balah the previous day.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 52,418 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 118,091 others injured.
Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
