Israeli settlers uproot, steal olive trees near Nablus

NABLUS, March 12, 2017 (WAFA) – Illegal Israeli settlers stole on Sunday olive trees from a Palestinian-owned land in the village of al-Sawiya, south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.

Ghassan Daghlas, a local official who monitors settlements activity in the northern West Bank, told WAFA that settlers from the Rahalim settlement, which is illegally built on the lands of the villages al-Sawiya and Yatma, stole nearly 140 olive trees from the area.

The lands were the olive trees were uprooted and stolen belong to Palestinians Haitham Kafineh and Suheil Suleiman.

Two days ago, Israeli settlers from Moan settlement uprooted tens of olive trees saplings near Hebron in the West Bank.
