ZURICH, February 9, 2017 (WAFA) – Palestine moved three notches up the FIFA World Ranking to become number 128, according to the new list announced by the Fédération Internationale de Football Association on Thursday.

Palestine received 246 points, up from January 12 update of 233 points, to move from the 131 position to 128.

Argentina was ranked first on the updated list with 1635 votes, followed by Brazil then Germany, holder of the last World Cup title.

Egypt, who came second in the African Cup game played this week, topped the list of Arab football teams and moved up 12 notches to become number 23 on the World Ranking.
