HEBRON, December 12, 2016 (WAFA) – Israeli forces on Monday seized an irrigation network in al-Baqa’a area, east of Hebron in the West Bank, according to local sources.
WAFA correspondent said Israeli army forces accompanied by heavy machinery broke into the area and seized an irrigation network belonging to farmers from Jaber family.
Local farmers said that seizure of the network was part of a series of Israeli measures against the area dwellers aiming to force them to evacuate the area for the benefit of expanding nearby Israeli settlements such as Kiryat Arba and Kharsina.
