BETHLEHEM, March 27, 2016 (WAFA) - Israeli forces Saturday detained eight Palestinians from across the West Bank districts of Bethlehem, Tulkarem, and Hebron, according to security sources and the Palestinian Prisoner‘s Society (PPS).
Three Palestinians were detained during a predawn Israeli military raid into Dheisheh Refugee Camp to the south of Bethlehem. They were idnetified as Hamza Abu ‘Ajmyeh, 15, Mohammed Sh‘afout, 22, and Odai Shahadeh, 17.
In the meantime, forces detained locals Na‘im Thawabteh, 21, and Mohammed Abu Sarhan, 32, after raiding and searching their homes in the town of Beit Fajjar to the south, and al-Ibediyeh area to the east, respectively.
In Tulkarem, PPS said forces detained a female identified as Hanin I‘mar, 39, after raiding and searching her home in Shwakeh area to the north.
In the city of Hebron, forces detined locals Adeeb al-Qawasmi, 20, and Khaled al-Sharif, 25, after raiding and searching their homes. Al-Sharif is the brother of Abdel-Fatah al-Sharif, who was fatally shot by Israeli forces on Thursday, after he allegedly stabbed and wounded an Israeli soldier in the Hebron neighborhood of Tal Rumeida.
Emad Abu Shamsiya, a Palestinian human rights worker, recorded a video footage of an Israeli soldier shooting al-Sharif in the head at point-blank range in plain view of the medical team after he had already been shot at least once and left motionless on the ground.
