GAZA, October 2, 2025 (WAFA) – At least 20 Palestinian civilians have been killed and others wounded since dawn on Thursday, as Israeli forces continue air and ground assault against multiple areas across the Gaza Strip.
According to medical sources, today's hospitals reported receiving 12 bodies at Al-Aqsa Hospital, three at Al-Shifa Medical Complex, and two at Nasser Hospital. Among the victims was a child killed by Israeli drone fire in Gaza City’s Al-Rimal neighborhood.
Meanwhile, three Palestinians were killed and 13 others were injured in an Israeli airstrike on tents for displaced persons in the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.
In Gaza City, one child was killed this morning by Israeli drone fire in the Ansar area of the city's Rimal neighborhood.
In Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip, eight people were wounded when an Israeli drone bombed a tent for displaced persons inside the Al-Aqsa University campus in the Al-Mawasi area west of the city.
Earlier, Israeli forces detonated four car bombs in the Al-Sabra and Tal al-Hawa neighborhoods south of Gaza City, while Israeli artillery shelled the eastern areas of the city and targeted the east of the Maghazi refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
Israeli warplanes also raided the eastern areas of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, and loud explosions were heard, amid ongoing aggression across the Strip.
Medical sources announced last night that 85 Palestinians were killed in the ongoing Israeli raids on the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours.
Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation has committed genocidal crimes in the Gaza Strip, which resulted so far in the killing of 66,148 Palestinians, with nearly 168,716 reported wounded, most of them children and women.
Meanwhile, famine has claimed the lives of 455 Palestinians, including 151 children.
