Israeli airstrike leaves several civilians injured, including child

GAZA, October 2, 2025 (WAFA) – An Israeli airstrike on Thursday left several civilians injured, including a child and one in critical condition in Gaza and Khan Younes, according to WAFA correspondent.

He said that an Israeli combat drone targeted the vicinity of al-Qubba Mosque in al-Masawi, west of Khan Younes, with a civilian critically injured and a child lightly injured.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces opened fire at an apartment on al-Wihda Street, at a time when several other strikes hit Al-Shati refugee camp, particularly the vicinity of Ghaban coffeeshop, resulting in several casualties.

Israel unilaterally ended the Gaza ceasefire agreement and resumed its aggression on the Strip on Tuesday, March 18, carrying out a wave of bloody airstrikes that resulted in killing 13,357 Palestinians and injuring 56,897 others.

In the last 24 hours, the bodies of 77 slain Palestinians and 222 casualties were admitted to Gaza hospitals.

Israel has waged a military onslaught on the Strip since October 2023, killing 66,225 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injuring 168,938 others.

Moreover, at least 10,000 people are unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip.

The Israeli aggression has also resulted in the forceful displacement of nearly two million people from all over the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority of the displaced forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafah near the border with Egypt – in what has become Palestine’s largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba.
