MOSCOW, October 2, 2025 (WAFA) — The Russian Foreign Ministry on Thursday rejected any statements claiming that a two-state solution and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital are impossible under international law and United Nations resolutions.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said at a press conference: “Russia considers any statements denying the possibility of an independent Palestinian state under UN resolutions and based on a two-state solution as unacceptable. Russia fully supports the Palestinian people's right to establish their state by all available means.”
