GAZA, October 2, 2025 (WAFA) – The death toll in the Gaza Strip from the unrelenting genocidal Israeli aggression reached 85 on Wednesday, according to medical sources.
They said that 53 Palestinian civilians were killed in the northern war-battered Strip, 28 others in the central Strip, and four others in the southern enclave.
They added that the bodies of 38 slain civilians were admitted to Al-Ahli Arab Hospital, the bodies of 15 others to Al-Shifa Hospital, the bodies of 19 others to Shuhada Al-Aqsa Hospital, the bodies of nine others to Al-Awda Hospital, and the bodies of four others to Nasser Hospital.
Israel unilaterally ended the Gaza ceasefire agreement and resumed its aggression on the Strip on Tuesday, March 18, carrying out a wave of bloody airstrikes across the Strip and killing at least 13,280 with 56,675 others wounded, according to medical sources.
Israel has waged a military onslaught on the Strip since October 2023, killing 66,148 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injuring 168,716 others.
Moreover, at least 10,000 people are unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip.
The Israeli aggression has also resulted in the forceful displacement of nearly two million people from all over the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority of the displaced forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafah near the border with Egypt – in what has become Palestine’s largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba.
