Israeli Forces Detain 15 Palestinians from West Bank

RAMALLAH, March 15, 2016 (WAFA) – Israeli forces detained Tuesday overnight 15 Palestinians from a number of West Bank districts, said Palestine Prisoner’s Society.

Four Palestinians were detained from Ramallah and al-Bireh, four others from Jerusalem, another from Bethlehem, three others from Hebron and three from Nablus.

Israeli soldiers detained Ibrahim Abu Shaqra, 23, Mahdi Washaha, 18, Adham Abu-Arqub and Bajes Nakhleh, 55, from the central West Bank district of Ramallah and al-Bireh.

To the south of Ramallah, in the Jerusalem district, Israeli police detained four Palestinians during a raid into Jabal al-Mukabbir neighborhood, south of the city, and Abu Dis town.

Police detained Salah Halasa and Rami Zahayka after storming their family houses in Jabal al-Mukabbir neighborhood.

This came several hours after Israeli soldiers Monday evening detained Inas Abu Helal, 25, and Wafa Abu Helal, 30, during a raid into Abu Dis town.

To the south of Jerusalem, in Bethlehem district, Israeli soldiers detained Muhammad Abu-Yabes, 14.

South of Bethlehem, in Hebron district, forces detained Hazem Abu-Zweid, Mu‘tasem Judi‘ and Hazem Tarayra, 18.

Meanwhile, three Palestinians identified as Abdullah Jabji, Muhammad Qatuni and Muhammad Nada were detained from the northern West Bank district of Nablus.

This came as 15 other Palestinians were detained overnight from the West Bank, bringing the total number of detainees since Monday evening to 30.
