GAZA, March 12, 2016 (WAFA) – Israeli army Saturday launched a series of aerial attacks against several targets in the Gaza Strip, killing a 10-year-old child, and seriously injuring his younger sister and 13-year-old brother.
WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli army targeted with at least a missile a location nearby a residential area in Beit Lahya town to the north of the Strip, killing Yasin Abu Khoseh, 10, and seriously injuring his sister Isra’a, 6, and his brother Ayoub, 13.
Meanwhile, an Israeli warplane fired at least a missile targeting another location to the north, causing destruction in the area, in addition to severe damages to adjacent homes.
An Israeli F16 plane fired two missiles targeting a location in al-Zaytoon area to the southeast of Gaza city, and an empty land to the east, causing destruction and a deep hole in the ground.
The Israeli army claimed that the strikes came in response to three missiles that were fired from Gaza and landed in southern Israel.
Israeli continues to breach a truce agreement reached in August 2014 between Israel and Palestinian armed groups, following 51 days of Israeli aggression on the Strip, which claimed the lives of almost 2.200 Palestinians, mostly civilians.
