Update: Israeli Forces Detain 20 Palestinians from West Bank

QALQILIYA, March 10, 2016 (WAFA) - Israeli forces Thursday overnight detained 20 Palestinians from a number of West Bank districts, said the Palestine Prisoner’s Society (PPS).

Six Palestinians were detained from Qalqiliya, five others from Jenin, three others from Nablus, two others from Hebron, two from Jerusalem and two others from Jericho.

Israeli forces detained six Palestinians from the northern West Bank district of Qalqiliya.

They were identified as Muhammad Masalha, 55 along with his four brothers, Thaer, ‘Ala, Baha and Rabi‘, 24 to 30, as well as his cousin, Fahed, 23.

Meanwhile, forces detained five Palestinians from the Jenin town of Qabatiya in the northern West Bank.

They were identified as Ahmad Nazzal, Muhammad Hanaysha, Muhammad Alawna, Muhammad Saba‘na and Yazan Hanaysha.

In Nablus district, forces detained three Palestinians from Iraq Burin, southwest of the city. They were identified as Ahed Farraj, Asem Farraj and Omar al-Jawhari.

In the Hebron district, forces detained Fadi Shawer and Khalid Jabbarin from Sair town.

Force also detained Muhammad Musleh, 17, and Ashraf Karaki, 17, during separate predawn raids into al-Jalazoun refugee camp and al-Ram town, north of Jerusalem.

In the meantime in Jericho district, forces detained Ibrahim Shawa, 24, and Ibrahim Ka‘abneh.

Earlier, forces detained 17 Palestinians from several West Bank districts.

This brings the total number of Palestinians detained Thursday overnight to 37.
