RAMALLAH, March 3, 2016 (WAFA) – The three Palestinian dailies Thursday focused on the Israeli army’s fatal shooting of two Palestinian teenagers from Qaryout village near Nablus in northern West Bank.
The two teenagers, Labib Azzam, 18, and Mohammad Hashem Zaghalwan, 18, were killed by Israeli forces after they allegedly attacked a settler near “Eli” settlement, to the south of Nablus.
Al-Quds said a large number of Palestinians attended the funeral of both Azzam and Zaghalwan.
The three dailies reported that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu threatened to exile the families of the Palestinians suspected of carrying out attacks on Israeli targets from the West bank to the Gaza strip.
Al-Ayyam reported that Israeli authorities demolished multiple Palestinian residencies in Jerusalem and West Bank on Wednesday.
Al-Quds said Israeli authorities demolished a three-story building in East Jerusalem, under the pretext of construction without an Israeli permit.
Al-Hayat Al-Jadida quoted President Mahmoud Abbas in the opening session of the Fatah Revolutionary Council meeting that: “We reject any interference into internal Palestinian affairs.
Al-Quds reported that the Lod District Court delayed the trial of two suspects in the Dawabsheh family murders, believed to be carried out by Israeli extremist settlers on July 31 2015, to April 12.
The three dailies said the United States Vice President Joe Biden is expected to arrive in Palestine and Israel next week.
The same daily also reported that Hamas refused the French initiative for holding a peace conference to solve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Al-Ayyam and Al-Hayat Al-Jadida dailies reported that the Arab Ministerial Committee for peace process is due to meet in Cairo next Wednesday for consultations on a UN resolution regarding Israeli settlements.
