JENIN, February 28, 2016 (WAFA) – Israeli forces on Sunday raided the town of Ya’bad, west of Jenin in northern West Bank, provoking clashes with local youths, before they detained a teenager, according to local sources.
During the clashes, Israeli soldiers fired teargas canisters towards the youths to disperse them, causing multiple cases of suffocation by teargas inhalation. Heavy use of teargas canisters by the Israeli troops also caused fire to erupt in a car which belongs to a local Palestinian.
Meanwhile, the army raided a number of homes in the town and searched them, before they detained a teenager in front of his family home. He was identified as 15-year-old Ameer Ruzzi.
