HEBRON, February 24, 2016 (WAFA) – Israeli forces last night detained at least 17 Palestinians and summoned another during raids across the West Bank, mostly in Hebron and Ramallah districts, according to the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS).
In Hebron district, Israeli army detained eight Palestinians in Hebron city and nearby Halhoul town, after raiding their homes.
They were identified as Tareq Ede‘es, 34, Ammar Ewewi, 36, Lo’ai at-Tawil, 28, Anas as-Saeed, Adnan Zama’reh, Kareem Shahin, Jawhar Makhamreh, and Mohammad Jaradat.
In Ramallah district, Israeli troops detained Jaber Abdo, 25, Ward Abdo, 18, Abdullah Abdo, 18, Majd Zardaq, 19, Fadi Elayyan, 29, and Ra’ed Dar-Saleh, 22.
Army also stormed the village of Kafr Qalil, south of Nablus, where they detained a local Palestinian, identified as Lo’ai al-Amer, 23.
In Jerusalem district, Israeli troops detained two Palestinians from Qalandia refugee camp and the town of Abu Dis. The two were identified as Mohammad Mteir and Udai Bader.
In Bethlehem district, Israeli intelligence summoned 14-year-old Marwan As’ad, from the village of Artas, to appear for interrogation at Gush Etzion military compound.
