Weather Forecast: Country Remains under Cold Front

RAMALLAH, February 22, 2016 (WAFA) – Temperatures are anticipated to further drop on Monday, as the region remains under the effect of the cold front, becoming cloudy and cold, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department.

Heavy rains, accompanied by occasional thunderstorms and hail showers, are expected over different areas.

Winds are southwesterly to northwesterly moderate to active with occasional gusts, and with choppy sea waves.

Temperatures are expected to rise on Tuesday, yet remaining relatively cold, with scattered rain showers over different areas.

Another rise in temperatures is expected on Wednesday, to become higher than annual average around by 4 degrees Celsius. Also a further rise in temperatures is expected to prevail on Thursday, approaching around seven degrees Celsius above annual average.
