RAMALLAH, February 21, 2016 (WAFA) – Israeli police Sunday detained three Palestinians from the Jerusalem area, bringing the total number of Palestinians detained since early morning to 17, according to the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS).
Israeli police detained three Palestinians in the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Silwan, before leading them to a nearby detention center. Two of the detainees were identified as Ahmad Gherab and Tha’er Salhab.
Earlier Sunday, Israeli police detained 14 Palestinians from across the West Bank districts, including two in Jerusalem.
PPS said at least 19 Palestinians have been detained by Israeli authorities during the past 48 hours.
