RAMALLAH, January 26, 2016 (WAFA) - Israeli forces and police Tuesday overnight and morning detained four Palestinians from Ramallah and Jerusalem, said Palestine Prisoner‘s Society (PPS) and WAFA correspondent.
Israeli forces detained one Palestinian during a predawn raid into Beit Sira, a village to the west of Ramallah. He was identified as Mousa Abu Saffiya.
Forces stationed at a military checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Rima town, northwest of Ramallah, re-detained a Palestinian identified as Bassam al-Rimawi, 33.
Meanwhile in Jerusalem, police detained a Palestinians during a predawn raid into Qalandiya refugee camp, north of Jerusalem. The detainee was identified as Ahmad Manasra.
Meanwhile, Israeli police detained a Palestinian from the vicinity of Bab al-‘Amud (Damascus Gate) in Jerusalem‘s Old City. He was identified as Shadi Ghurab.
With these new four detentions, the total of Palestinians detained on Tuesday rises to five.
