Israeli Forces Detain 10 Palestinians from West Bank

JENIN, January 25, 2016 (WAFA) – Israeli forces overnight detained 10 Palestinians from various West Bank districts, said Palestine Prisoner’s Society and local security sources.

Israeli forces detained four Palestinians after breaking into and ransacking their family houses in Jenin refugee camp, west of Jenin. The detainees were identified as Rami al-Sa‘di, Karam Abu ‘Aita, ‘Imad Abu Al-Haija and Majd Naghnaghiya, all in their 20s.

Clashes broke out between Israeli forces and local Palestinians. During clashes, forces fired stun grenades and live ammunition. No injuries were reported.

Meanwhile, forces detained three Palestinians from the northern West Bank district of Nablus.

Forces detained Riyad Abu al-Hasan and ‘Ala ‘Aweis after storming and ransacking their family houses in Balata refugee camp.

Troops stationed on al-Karama border crossing detained Fadi Abu al-Su‘oud while he was making his way back from Jordan to his Nablus hometown.

Meanwhile, Israeli police detained two Palestinians during a predawn raid into al-‘Issawiya town, north of Jerusalem. They were identified as Hamada Hariz and Mahmoud ‘Attiya.

In the meantime in Bethlehem, forces detained Ibrahim al-‘Aruj, whose three brothers are detained.
