Three Youths Injured in Israeli Crackdown in Nablus

NABLUS, January 21, 2016 (WAFA) – At least three Palestinians were injured by live ammunition and rubber-coated bullets shot by Israeli army troops, who raided the city of Nablus, nearby Balata refugee camp and the village of Tell, according to security sources.

While one of three youths was injured with a live bullet in his lower abdomen, the second was injured with a live bullet in his thigh bone, and the third was hit with a rubber-coated steel bullet.

During the Israeli offensive, at least one Palestinian, As’ad Yamin, was detained in Balata refugee camp. The Israeli army also raided and searched many homes in the village of Tell.

Around 162 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli fire since the beginning of unrest in the occupied Palestinian territories in early October 2015, according to the Ministry of Health.
