RAMALLAH, January 21, 2016 (WAFA) – A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Thursday, approaching about three degrees Celsius over annual average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department.
Winds are northwesterly to easterly and light to moderate. Sea waves are low.
No significant change in temperature is expected on Friday.
However on Saturday, a low pressure accompanied by a cold front is expected to affect the region. Therefore, temperatures are expected to significantly drop, and rains accompanied by occasional thunderstorms are expected in many areas.
Another drop in temperatures is expected on Sunday, as the region remains under the effect of the cold front. Heavy rains accompanied by thunderstorms are expected over different areas, while snowfall is expected over areas at above 900 meters over sea level.
