RAMALLAH, January 6, 2016 (WAFA) – Weather on Wednesday is partly cloudy, with a further slight rise in temperature, approaching five degrees Celsius over annual average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department.
Winds are southwesterly to southeasterly and light to moderate. Sea waves are low.
Temperatures are expected to continue to slightly rise on Wednesday and Thursday, approaching about seven degrees Celsius over annual average. Weather on Thursday is expected to be windy during afternoon and night hours.
However on Friday, a low pressure accompanied by a cold front is expected to affect the east Mediterranean region. Therefore, temperatures are expected to significantly drop, and rains, accompanied by thunderstorms, are expected to fall over different areas.
Rains, hail, winds and thunderstorms are also expected for Saturday as the low pressure continues to affect the region.
