HEBRON, January 5, 2016 (WAFA) – Israeli forces early Tuesday detained a total of 17 Palestinians, including at least four minors, from several West Bank districts, said the Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS).
Israeli forces detained Omar ‘Awawdeh, 24, Rabi‘ ‘Awad, 19, Mahran Dandis, 18, Khalid al-Ja‘bari, 16, and Omar ‘Arar, 16, during predawn raids into several Hebron neighborhood and towns in the southern West Bank.
In the northern West Bank district of Jenin, forces stationed on Za‘tara military checkpoint, south of Nablus, detained two Palestinians identified as Rabi‘ Kamil and Wathiq Sharqiya.
Two more Palestinians identified as Nizar Ash-Shalabi and Yazan Qabaha were detained as they were crossing an Israeli military checkpoint at the entrance of Tura village, west of the city.
Meanwhile in Jerusalem district, police detained three Palestinians identified as Muhammad, 15, and Yousef Shwaiki, 16, and Hudhayfa Taha, 16, who was reportedly injured during his arrest.
Two more Palestinians were detained during predawn raids into the northern West Bank district of Nablus. They were identified as Khalid Ash-Shaf‘i and ‘Abdullah al-‘Aker.
Meanwhile, forces detained two Palestinians identified as Muhammad Jalayta and Ibrahim Sha‘ash‘a from Jericho district.
Forces detained another Palestinian during a predawn raid into the Tulkarem village of Shweikeh. He was identified as Ra'e’ Dahiliya, 39.
